Strengths-based Counselling
Melissa uses a strengths-based counselling practice approach. Through this strengths-based approach, people are supported in changing the relationship they have with problems they are experiencing through recognising and being re-connected with their own skills, strengths, abilities and values. People are recognised as the experts in their own lives and problems are seen as separate to the person. This approach does not blame, instead seeking to be respectful. Melissa supports you to re-write stories of your life into more preferred stories.
