Career Counselling

Whether you are choosing a career, changing direction, returning to work, planning further study or exploring new opportunities, career counselling provides practical guidance tailored to your individual goals. It offers a supportive space to explore your options and identify a pathway that feels right for you, regardless of whether you have a clear goal or are still exploring your possibilities.

Support is available with career exploration, career assessments, career planning, subject selection, QTAC applications, study pathways, resume development, cover letters, interview preparation and job search strategies.

Career counselling is provided using a strengths-based approach that recognises you as the expert in your own life. Together, we explore your strengths, values, interests, skills and hopes for the future while considering the experiences that have shaped your career journey. We discuss what is important to you, any challenges you may be facing, and the direction you would like your career to take.

Throughout the process, you will be supported to research occupations, labour market information, education and training pathways, and employment opportunities relevant to your goals. Together, we develop a realistic career action plan that reflects your strengths, values and aspirations while providing practical support with resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and personal branding.

Career counselling aims to help you make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence while supporting you to take meaningful steps towards your preferred future.
